Headache
While the root cause of headache problems vary and are complex, two sources are common: a disorder of the brain's vascular system (migraine headaches), or increased tension of the muscles around the head, face and eyes (tension headaches).
A Quantitative EEG aids in understanding the nature of the headaches by revealing inefficient brain wave patterning and helping to determine if there is excess muscle tension. Remedial Neurofeedback Training™ sessions (brain wave training), especially when combined with relaxation training and certain support therapies, have shown the ability to reduce or eliminate most headache problems.
